Santa's Helpers Needed for Walk Against Warming

Want to do more than just walk at this year's Walk Against Warming? We are looking for a little help telling our politicians that we want them to take some simple first steps towards kicking the coal habit.

We plan to distribute over 300 Christmas cards at Walk against Warming this Saturday for people to sign and send to their MPs. The cards will include messages asking for protection of Qld's best farmland and nature refuges from coal mining this Christmas. They include messages like:

All the best to you and your family this Christmas. I hope that together we can phase out coal and have a safe climate for many Christmas' to come.

We are looking for a little help to let our politicians know that we want them to take the simple first steps to kicking the coal habit.

If you would be interested in pairing up with someone to wear a santa hat, carry a santa's sack of x-mas cards and ask people if they want to send a x-mas card to their MP, that would be grand!
